Pot Group

The MPRG conference is held each year in the Spring, between one- and two- or three-day events. Conferences have been held at locations all over Britain – for example, London, York, Belfast, Exeter, Aberdeen, and Durham, as well as on the continent – in Belgium, Holland, Germany, and Italy.

An additional conference was held in November 2012 to celebrate the life and work of Sarah Jennings at the Wallace Collection, London. The 2013 conference will be held at Mary Rose Museum, Portsmouth 8th June with the theme of 'Pottery Afloat - ceramics in a marine context'. .

Each conference has a theme, and these have covered a wide range of topics over the whole period of interest.

At the bi-annual three-day conference, the Gerald Dunning Memorial Lecture is given by an invited speaker.

For details of previous conferences and papers presented see the archive.
