The MPRG conference is held each year in early Summer, alternating between one- and three-day events. Conferences have been held at locations all over Britain - for example, London, York, Belfast, Exeter, Aberdeen, and Durham, as well as on the continent - in Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Portugal and Italy.
Our next conference will be held in Leicester on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd June in collaboration with the Centre for Historical Archaeology at Leicester University on the theme of 'Ceramics and drink'.
The registration form can be found here.
Each conference has a theme, and these have covered a wide range of topics over the whole period of interest.
At the bi-annual three-day conference, the Gerald Dunning Memorial Lecture is given by an invited speaker.
